Foundation of Joy raises funds and awareness for the welfare, education, and artistic development of children and young adults, the reproductive healthcare and human rights of women---and we do it through art. Art serves a dual purpose--we can tell inspiring stories that raise awareness of these issues, and the distribution of the art raises funds for the nonprofits on the ground doing the hard work to make the lives of children better--and with hope for a future. FOJ is a group of artists and experienced social advocates dedicated to raising awareness and problem solving for contemporary social issues.

The Foundation of Joy is a registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Contributions to Foundation of Joy are tax-deductible to the extent
permitted by law. The Foundation of Joy's tax identification number is 38-3760535.

We are so thrilled and honored to be a part of Cincinnati Gives! The kick off for Giving Tuesday is November 28, 2022! Thank you for your support, as we are back to filming, photographing, making music, writing, and telling the stories of the incredible work of the nonprofits dedicated to helping children thrive, and the issues they battle. In creating the art, we incorporate service work for those nonprofits, and talented artists have joined the effort to work with and mentor young adults and children in the artistic process, to raise funds and awareness--to be a part of the solution. Art spreads joy!

2020-----Our work has not stopped during the pandemic! We took a break from live in person work and bought food, clothing, art supplies from local businesses struggling to stay open, and then donated that food to nonprofits caring for children and mothers, healthcare workers, and food banks for all. We purchased trays of food from many local restaurants and brought them to the food banks, kitchens, and shelters.

Foundation of Joy is producing a documentary featuring a series of short documentary films on child poverty in America. The series will cover: child hunger; children transitioning out of foster care and becoming the largest homeless population in the US; bullying, mental health and LGBT issues; artistic and educational wellness; child trafficking.

FOJ is proud to be a part of telling this story and will promote with PSAs and campaigns to support the end of sexual crimes against women.

Logline: When a young, defiant Polish resistance fighter is torn from her husband's arms and forced to serve in a secret concentration camp brothel run by the SS, she finds herself fighting for survival, love, and redemption.

Bakeries across the country are joining the joy cupcake bake sale! We will be posting and tweeting every bakery, and location, and their culinary version of what joy in a cupcake is!

A portion of the sale will go back to Foundation of Joy and the documentaries on child hunger in America and children transitioning out of foster care---and the nonprofits working on these issues, doing the daily work to help children thrive!
